About DRE
Down River Equipment is a small
company that has been in business for 20 years
specializing in manufacturing, distributing and retailing
quality river equipment. We are a seasonal business with
the bulk of our business from April through August. We
offer a flexible schedule (more so during the off-season),
an interesting working environment, free employee demo
gear and a chance to have a real effect on the business.
DRE has full and part-time in-house positions available to
start in February 2008. Compensation varies depending on
experience. Outside sale rep positions to start
immediately.

Northwest Outside Sales
Representative:
This is a commission-based position
for an established rep group or individual. We are
looking for an experienced rep that currently works in the
paddle sports industry and has good relationships with
retailers in the area. We need a rep that is willing to
put the effort into promoting and introducing Down River
to their territory. Territory to include Oregon,
Washington, Northern California, Idaho and possibly other
bordering states.
Northeast Outside Sales
Representative:
This is a commission-based position

retailers in the area. We need a rep that is willing to

to their territory. Territory to include New York, Maine,
Pennsylvania and possibly other bordering states.
Southeast Outside Sales
Representative
This is a commission-based position
for an established rep group or individual. We are
looking for an experienced rep that currently works in the
paddle sports industry and has good relationships with
retailers in the area. We need a rep that is willing to
put the effort into promoting and introducing Down River
to their territory. Territory to include North Carolina,
South Carolina, Tennessee, West Virginia and possibly
other bordering states.
In House Sales & Customer Service
Rep:
Works directly with retail customers
face to face, on the phone and via email. Other in house
responsibilities include; store upkeep, product expertise,
package design, river expertise and providing the best
customer service in the industry.
This position assists the general
manager and store manager with several projects throughout
the year. Including our spring, summer & fall sales, the
retail catalog and the yearly workbook. Reports to the
store manager.
