Spend your hard earned money on boating gear, not shipping charges. When you place an order of $99 or more we’ll ship it to you for free. If you’re not stoked about your order we’ll pay for the return shipping, just give us a call. If you have back-ordered items, your order will ship when it is complete.
- Standard ground shipping. Expedited orders will be charged at expedited rates, call for details.
- Applies to contiguous U.S. orders only. (Sorry, Alaska and Hawaii are excluded from this offer.)
- Excludes oversized and flammable items.
- Wholesale and pro customers will be charged for shipping.
Rafts, frames, frame components, coolers, dry boxes, oars, paddles, firepans, river tables, among some others are considered oversized items. Surcharges will be clearly displayed in the Shopping Cart and during Checkout. When purchasing a full package oversized surcharges may be discounted. We will discuss this with you.

*The above rates are for the majority of accessories items. There will be surcharges for oversized and flammable items, orders shipping outside the contiguous US and orders for wholesale and pro customers.
To make sure you can get on the river as quick as possible we strive to ship in-stock items no later than the next business day. If we’re not able to we will contact you.
FOR RETURNS and EXCHANGES:
All returns require an RA (return authorization) number. Please call Down River Equipment at 888-467-2144 or 303-467-9489 for an RA number. Please put your RA number on the outside of the shipping box.
Customers may return any stock item (i.e. not custom built) for any reason. Custom built items are not returnable (except for warranty issues). Down River Equipment offers a full refund of the purchase price for stock items returned new and unused within 30 days of their purchase. Returns past 30 days will only be allowed store credit. Shipping charges for oversized items is not refundable.
If the return is a result of a defective item, please include a note describing the problem and whether you would like a refund or exchange. Size or color exchanges are accepted as long as the product is new and unused.
WHOLESALE and PRO CUSTOMER RETURNS and EXCHANGES:
Please call 888-467-2144 or 303-467-9489 to obtain a Return Authorization number (RA#) and we will guide you through your return. Wholesale and pro customers are responsible for returning the item to Down River Equipment unless it is a defective item.
All returns will be processed within a couple of days after receipt of the returned item at Down River Equipment. For credit card refunds, please allow two billing cycles for the credit to show on your statement. Refund checks will be mailed.
